Craig Stobo
Craig has extensive funds management experience having been involved in establishment of BT Funds Management NZ and as CEO building it to $3.5 billion under management. Chaired the 2004 Tax Review “Towards Consensus on the Taxation of Investment Income”, established by the Minister of Finance to review tax reforms for the NZ savings and investment industry. He is Director of a number of companies including Chairman of AMP Haumi Management Ltd, the manager for AMP NZ Office Trust.
Jason McCracken
Jason was most recently a member of the Executive team of IAG NZ, Australasia’s largest general insurance company with a market cap of $A10 billion. He has held a number of Executive roles within IAG over a period of 10 years. Most recent role was the Head of Business Partners in New Zealand , responsible for the management of the $250m Corporate Business working with the leading banks in New Zealand. Jason has held a number of other roles over this time including General Manager, Sales and Marketing for IAG NZ and Marketing Manager for State Insurance. Before joining IAG he was the CEO of the Insurance Institute of New Zealand.
Timothy Jones
Tim is Finance Director and a minority shareholder of the Practiv Group – a privately owned marketing and application development company that provides its services to the UK insurance industry. Although based in New Zealand, Tim is responsible for all aspects of the finance, corporate governance and financial reporting of the Practiv Group.Joined Practiv from KPMG where he was a Director in the Middle Market Advisory division. Specialised in providing accountancy, tax and consultancy services to privately owned entrepreneurial clients – with a focus on rapidly growing SME clients.
Justin Bgoni
Justin is the Chief Financial Officer of NZX – the New Zealand Stock Exchange. He is also a director of several NZX subsidiaries. Most recently he was CFO of Rasai Holdings, an investment company in South Africa. Prior to that he was Managing Director of South African company Vynide, a manufacturing enterprise with a 150-strong workforce. Earlier in his career Justin was Executive Director of a private equity fund management company EEP Investments - a division of financial services group First Rand; Management consultant at McKinsey & Co where he provided strategic and operational advice to large companies and an Auditor at Barbour Robb & O’Connor. Justin is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Michael Maunsell
Mike has significant commercial experience in the technology, pharmaceutical, healthcare and publishing sectors. In particular, he has been involved in a number of commercial ventures using technology to enable the achievement of business goals. Mike held a number of commercial roles in NZ but also in Australia (1994-1996) and USA (2000-2003). From 2003-2006, Mike was Chief Operating Officer, ProCare Health Ltd, managing all aspects of services provided to 188 general practices with 650,000 patients (responsible for management of $90 million in government funding).
